Paddy Rice Cleaning Process

Generally, the rice milling procedure consists of removing all impurities, and edible milled rice is produced after 20% husk separation, 11% of bran layers, and 70% of starchy endosperm. The first step in rice milling is called the rice paddy cleaning process. Paddy comes for milling purposes directly from Rice farms. Removing the Husk

After drenching and scorching, it will be easy to husk the paddy. The husk is removed by using friction so that paddy grains can effortlessly rotate between two scratchy shells that spin at different speeds. To remove the leftover unhusked paddy particles, we nourish the husker again for brown rice fraction. KRM uses first-class technologies to achieve husking efficiencies as high as up to 96% to maintain the uniformity and thickness of grain.

Paddy Separation

Paddy separator is a pre-cleaner setup designed for unhusked paddy; it’s a modern rice edge system for producing brown rice. The first filter is a scalper that revolves through the grain but holds the straw. The air aspirator sucks out dirt and the light bare grains. After husker removal, paddy separation enhanced processing efficiency and worked in an ideal way to support the entire process simply and easily.

Whitening or Polishing

As white rice is processed from brown rice by eliminating the bran layer and the germ. Whitening or polishing process the grain through rice kernel passing between different speeds and friction ratio. However, whitening consists of 10% removal of the bran, which is classified as white rice after peeling off the bran layers. Friction polishers are utilized to produce whiter grain with steel-ribbed cylinders spinning inside a metal-plated cylinder.

Grading And Blending

KRM proudly redefines the rice processing practice in Pakistan; as a leading and technologically sound rice mill, we prioritize each step for producing high-quality long-grain rice. Pakistan’s favourite long grain rice is carefully handled in an indented cylinder where rice rotates and captures in the dints and lifted. The intact cylinder is set up at a slight angle. Length graders are usually used in sequences, with dints of different sizes used for each grading phase.

Bagging Station

Furthermore, as the increasing price of conventional energy and environmental policies, KRM is focused on milled rice in environmentally friendly bags and packaging; before heading to bagging, stations advanced mechanical weighing system is utilized to ensure the precise rice weighing. There is a different variant of packing available at KRM, depending on the customer’s requirements. Khan Rice Mill is available in 2, 5, 10, and 20kg plastic packaging.
