Haji Mumtaz Ali Khan (Late), the originator of Khan Rice Mills, had an agriculturist family and began developing rice paddy on his ranches situated in the Sheikhupura region Pakistan around 1958. At that point, rice husking factories were just a concept in the area, so the paddy carried around was husked in bantam rice husking units; until 1960, they follow the same practice. Gradually they replace it with fully automatic plants. Khan Rice Mills are the forefront of dropping food loss, growing crop yields, enhancing market access with novel technologies.
A youthful Shamshad Ali Khan, the eldest in the family, joined his father after graduating in 1974 as a feature icon of the rice industry and family business. He is knowledgeable, fanatical, and enthusiastic about his privately-run company. The young descendant has categorically reorganized rice plants with state of the art production unit quickly, such as striking augmentations, a German-designed Automatic Rice Husking Plant, and upgrades in drying, processing, polishing, preparing, and grading advancements. Khan Rice Mills’s quality and productivity developed rapidly under the supervision of this young and talented director .within no time, they got two preeminent Rice Shelling plants which had the option to increase their production limits at 20mt/ton every hour.
Khan Rice Mills is one of the region’s premier rice exporters, being a key producer, miller, and processor of Rice for overseas markets since 1991. Today, the company owns paddy fields spread over 72 acres of prime agrarian land and considered the best quality rice producer globally. Basmati rice cultivated by Sheikhupura is known worldwide for its idiosyncratic flavor, aroma, and more extended properties.
